June 13th, 2018 – From the Trading Floor, to Author: John Nuckel’s Path to Becoming a Crime Writer

Join your fellow financial writers for an evening with author John Nuckel, who will discuss his path from being a trader on the floor of the American Stock Exchange to writing about financial crime.

John Nuckel went from the welfare apartments of a middle-class town to a successful career in the financial world--where he met the characters who have inspired three white-collar crime thrillers (so far). He is the author of The Rector Street Series ("The Vig," "Grit," and "Blind Trust'), as well as two short stories ("The Victory Grill" and "The Garden"). "Drive" is his latest work. Nuckel is embracing his creative spirit by writing and has encouraged others to do the same on his radio show, "Wake Up and Dream.” He is a New York Times contributing writer, and you can learn more about him at https://johnnuckel.com/
