May 31, 2016 – Deadline for 2016 McGraw Fellowship Applications

Grants up to $15K for Investigative & Enterprise Business Reporting. Apply by May 31st

From the AP's Pulitzer Prize winning "Seafood from Slaves" to the ICIJ's Panama Papers project, the last few weeks have shown just how important strong enterprise reporting on business topics can be. If you – or a reporter you know – have a great idea for an investigative or enterprise story on a business or economic topic, but few resources to get it done, The McGraw Fellowship for Business Journalism would like to hear from you. An initiative of the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, the McGraw Fellowships provide up to $15,000 for experienced journalists to do the deep reporting needed to produce ambitious work on significant issues related to U.S. economy and global business. The deadline for Spring 2016 Fellowship applications is May 31, 2016. No residency is required; McGraw Fellows work from their own offices. Freelance journalists, as well as reporters and editors currently working at a news organization may apply. Five years professional experience as a journalist is needed.
