May 11, 2015 – May Networking Night/2015 Scholarship Presentations

Join your fellow NYFWA members, along with members of the next crop of financial journalists, for our May networking night. The evening will include presentations of the NYFWA’s 2015 scholarships, followed by a panel of recent entrants into the world of financial journalism who will discuss their first-impressions and experiences in their roles as novice business journalists, as well as how they got their foot in the door at the organizations where they landed their first jobs. As always, the evening will feature light appetizers and NYFWA members’ first two drinks are on us.

This event is only open to members in good standing. Guests of the NYFWA are welcome to attend for $15.

When: Monday, May 11th, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Where: The Perfect Pint, 123 West 45th Street (between 6th/Broadway) *There is an elevator at this location for anyone unable to make it up the stairs. If you need to use the elevator, inform the hostess -but only do so if you really need it.
