A Huge Thanks to George

On April 3, 2014 more than 50 members of the NYFWA came out to thank longtime members George Auerbach for his devotion to the NYFWA. Having first joined the NYFWA 1953, George has left a mark on our organization that cannot be matched -performing in 55 consecutive Financial Follies and spending more than four decades as crucial member of the board of governors. It is no surprise the members young and old took the time to come out and thank George in person and to hear a few tales of his early days in the organization. Above, Art Samansky -another beloved member of the NYFWA- presents his longtime friend and former Financial Follies co-star with a plaque acknowledging the NYFWA's gratitude for his years of service.
