Hear how Tom Hardin went from being a successful long-short equity analyst, to an inside trader and eventually a central whistleblower in the FBI’s 2007-2008 investigation of the hedge fund industry. Known only as “Tipper X” until his identity was ultimately revealed by the FBI, Hardin was a critical figure in the bureau’s investigation and ultimately helped build more than 20 criminal cases, including the demise of $3.7 billion hedge fund firm Galleon Group.
