Grace L. Williams is a scholar of feminism and economics who moonlights as a financial reporter and podcast co-host. Whether it’s shares of a company or this season’s must have, Williams is passionate about what we’re buying, why we’re buying it, and how it contributes to many a bottom line. Throughout her near-decade of self-employment, she has tapped into the mindset of consumers and “followed the money” to dig deep into what they prioritize and care about as it plays out against an ever-changing market landscape. Williams is the author of Give Her Credit, a book that spotlights women’s banks in the 1970s and is an alum of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, where ironically she wrote a thesis on “Freeganism,” which is the magical art of surviving while buying nothing. Her writing has been featured in Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Harvard Business Review, Yahoo Finance, Stephens, Financial Advisor IQ, and RIA Intel, among many others. 

Josie Cox is a journalist, author and broadcaster. She’s worked on staff for Reuters, The Wall Street Journal and The Independent. As a freelancer, she’s written for Bloomberg, Business Insider, Salon, The Washington Post, The Spectator, Guardian and many other publications. Josie has appeared on CNN, ABC, PBS, CNBC, public radio and a host of other networks. She regularly contributes to the BBC, both as a writer and broadcaster, and is a founding editor of The Persistent, for which she writes weekly. 

She was a 2020/2021 Knight-Bagehot Fellow at Columbia Journalism School in New York, and holds a BA from the University of Bath in the U.K. and an MBA from Columbia Business School. She’s also an Associate Instructor within the Strategic Communications program at Columbia’s School of Professional Studies and currently serves on the World Economic Forum’s Global Futures Council on Investing in Gender Parity. Josie’s first book, WOMEN MONEY POWER, charts the quest for women’s economic equality in America since World War II through the lives of unsung heroes and trailblazers.

Robin Wood Sailer is a venture partner at Helena Capital and the co-founder of Le Labs Group. Previously, she worked at CBS News, Bloomberg News and The Wall Street Journal and Barron’s Group. She has produced award winning programming for digital news, broadcast television, audio, mixed reality and ~100 news making events during her time at Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal and Le Labs. She was part of the team that built the original Bloomberg Events division. The business was incubated at Bloomberg Ventures. At the Wall Street Journal, she was part of the team that produced WSJ Tech Live in Laguna and Hong Kong as well as the Future of Everything Festival. At Bloomberg and at the Wall Street Journal, she oversaw the curation of founders and investors who participated in the shark tank inspired startup showcases that were embedded in technology focused conferences. At Dow Jones — when the pandemic shut down in person events — her business unit participated in Prehype’s accelerator program to launch a virtual event business. She also started and ran the custom and brand events business. Currently she advises founders, investors and executive leaders on storytelling, strategic partnerships and business development. Le Labs’ clients and partners have included Fortune 500 companies, founders, investors and non-profits. She is on the board of the New York Financial Writers Association and Sticks and Stones Studio, an arts education program in Oregon.
