Emily Baker-White has been an investigative reporter and senior writer at Forbes since July of 2022. She joined the publication from BuzzFeed News, where she started her journalistic career as a senior technology reporter. At both organizations, she published stories on a broad range of tech topics, including her groundbreaking coverage of TikTok.
Baker-White previously worked on the management side of tech as a senior policy manager at Spotify, and product policy associate manager at Facebook.
A graduate of Oberlin College and Harvard Law School, Baker-White started her career working in several law-related positions, including as a U.S. District Court judicial clerk and as the leader of a study of police officers’ racist, Islamophobic or otherwise offensive posts on Facebook.
