May 13, 2024 –– Author Rob Copeland on The Fund: Ray Dalio, Bridgewater Associates and the Unraveling of a Wall Street Legend

Billionaire hedge fund manager Ray Dalio has long been a legend in the hedge fund industry, having built Bridgewater Associates into the world’s largest hedge fund firm. New York Times journalist Rob Copeland dispels the image of Dalio as a hedge fund god, revealing that his widely promoted principles and leadership style created a toxic culture within the firm he built and detailing how high-profile leaders were taken in by him. Join the New York Financial Writers’ Association on May 13, when Copeland will discuss how he went about reporting and writing his book The Fund: Ray Dalio, Bridgewater Associates and the Unraveling of a Wall Street Legend. This will be a virtual discussion and will be facilitated by Jordyn Holman, a business reporter for The New York Times
