November 13, 2023 ​ –– The NYFWA is 85 Years Old: Let's Celebrate Our Longest Members!

The New York Financial Writers’ Association is celebrating 85 years!

During that time the NYFWA has counted thousands of journalists from news organizations in every facet of media among our membership –individuals who have helped us make a lasting mark on the world of financial journalism. From the hundreds of thousands of dollars we have awarded in scholarships to up-and-coming financial journalists, to educational and networking gatherings and, of course, the Financial Follies, the NYFWA has helped enhance the professional standards of financial journalism while fostering networking and lasting ties between many of the professionals at the heart of our industry.

As we close in on our 86th year, the NYFWA would like to honor our longest members –those who have been actively involved for 25 years or longer. Before the craziness of the holiday season ensues, please join us at a wine and cheese gathering celebrating NYFWA’s longtime members. This event will include a video featuring many longtime members (a handful of whom are no longer with us) reminiscing about their involvement with the NYFWA and some of the biggest changes they have seen in both our organization and the industry at large during their careers. And you won’t want to miss the opportunity to speak with many of these in-person and ask any questions of your own.

This event is open to NYFWA members in good standing. Guests are welcome to attend by paying the $15 NYFWA guest fee.
