July 15th, 2020 – The Role of Corporate America in Promoting Racial Justice

Can big business fix racial injustice?

Join the New York Financial Writers' Association for an evening with New York Times columnist and CNBC anchor Andrew Ross Sorkin and John Streur, CEO of responsible investing firm Calvert Research and Management, for a discussion on the role that corporations can play in ending racism in America.

This panel will cover the rise of environmental, social and governance investing in the U.S., and whether recent pledges by Wall Street to do good while doing business are nothing more than public relations spin or are actually instigating real change.

The conversation will be moderated by NYFWA board member and Bloomberg News reporter Olivia Carville. If you have any questions for the panel, get in touch: ocarville1@bloomberg.net.

When: Wednesday, July 15, 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. (EST)
