Bases, who has spent the past year as Thomson Reuters' deputyand acting U.S. Public Finanance Editor, has been with the organization for more than 18 years. During that time he has held a wide variety of positions in both the U.S. and in London, with a focus mainly on foreign policy and emerging markets.
